Drag Swab

The Drag Swab is composed of a surgical shoe cover moistened with buffered peptone water, packed in a wire sample bag, and sterilized by gamma ray.

It is safer and more durable for transportation to the sample collection site, and it cuts down on labor, saving time.

It is used in sample collection and pre-enrichment for microorganism detection, keeping the cells viable and recovering injured cells until laboratory analysis.

Practical and economical, as it allows sample collection and returns it to the sampling bag with buffered peptone water or other broth for pre-enrichment.
